A new pathway has opened up in the Unending Tower, leading to a brand new area known as the Mineral Realm! Learn about ancient Micani, fight tricky crystal monsters, avoid traps, solve puzzles and find your way through a nested maze to confront an old familiar name about the sins of his past, and what devastation the future may bring.

Monsters of Mican: Crystal Edition brings forward this brand new post-game story with multiple dungeons, bosses, and an ending that lets you once again choose how the fate of all of reality is decided.

Major features:

The Warren- a new dungeon accessible just outside of Alright Outpost, "hidden" by a not-so-inconspicuous bush. Brave the deadly traps hidden by the Thieves Guild to earn yourself honorary membership, or perhaps instead help a darker force...

Frank's Racetrack- what's cooler than a talking hot dog? A talking hot dog with sunglasses! What's cooler than a talking hot dog with sunglasses? A talking hot dog with sunglasses riding a skateboard! Race against Frankfurter The Fast in one of three difficulty levels to earn unique prizes and stat boosts that are all about speed and agility! Find the racetrack outside of the cafeteria in the Unearthed Halls Level 2!

Fishing- what is an RPG without fishing? Pick up the fishing rod lying around against a rock on the beach and get casting in any body of water, sewage or even lava! A new NPC named Herman the Crab Hermit will give you a quest to find all 12 types of fish in the world, but be warned that fishing too much in one spot can draw the attention of fearsome sea beasts....

Nearly 40 new monsters! From Gemignite to Carewolf to Challahback, enemy variety has never been better! Now there are nearly 300 monster types to fight, befriend, and chat with! And with 4 different Monster Buddy interactions for each monster that's... A lot of dialogue!

Game saves now include a screenshot of where you last saved! Not as major as the others, but still very neat and welcome in our opinion!

New renovations!

Many areas have been completely renovated, given new and better lighting, more interesting clutter and architecture, and some extra secrets!

Especially:

Monster Arena- a new door on the combat level leads to the locker room and showers! Talk with the monsters as they prepare for their fights, and maybe find a few secrets and even a minor quest!

Monster Glade- the Monsters decided to make it more homey! You'll find a number of different decorative areas for monsters to vibe in, and possibly a secret or two for those sharp eyed (or bouncy legged)

Quality of Life updates-

- Added a "bulk sell" button in shops, which lets you sell all equipment of any single rarity (common, magic, epic, etc). Helpful to cut down on scrolling through your inventory!

- Added a "Level to cap" button at the trainer! Now instead of clicking 50 times to gain 50 levels, you can click just once to train to your current cap (whether capped by gold or experience)! A real time saver!

- Added a "Handy Heal All" button in the overview section of the pause menu. This can only be used outside of battle, but using it will have your healer(s) heal the party to full instantly if possible. Useful if you don't want to rest and lose your current buffs!

Other changes:

- Added Monster Buddy Favorites! You can now favorite up to 10 monster buddies, who will show up for you when using Unleash or Stampede!

- Rebalanced mid/end game difficulty. Many minor changes to how resistances are calculated and how monsters reduce damage has significantly improved the late-game difficulty balance. These changes scale with chosen difficulty.

- New monster traits: many new traits were developed to help improve the balance, such as Cursebringer which lets a monster reduce your HP by 99% at the end of the round!

- New enchantments

- New artifacts

- New potions and items

- Many, many bug fixes

- Game performance has been significantly upgraded on all maps due to removing redundant and deprecated functions, as well as other optimizations

- Added monster viewer to the main menu

- Added new songs to the main menu music room
